A free 45 minute uninterrupted recital. Repertoire performed in the Live First Round can be played again at the semifinal.

A Concerto Performance with NYCA Symphony Orchestra

2. There will be up to twelve pianists advancing to the semifinal round, and up to three pianists advancing to the final round.
3. A Winner will be announced on the website the following day after the final concert. The result of the first live round will be announced to all applicants by March 2, 2017 latest.
4. All required materials must be submitted and uploaded to the online application form.

6. Application has to be in its completion. Incomplete application will not be considered. Documents sent will not be returned.
7. Repertoire change of submitted programs for all three rounds is allowed before February 1, 2017. No changes are allowed after February 1, 2017.
8. Semifinalists from outside USA will receive a travel grant up to $500. Selected semifinalists should purchase air tickets to New York if they are from outside US immediately after the announcement.
New York Concert Artists & Associates has unrestricted rights to broadcast, record, televise, publish any part of the applicant’s participation in the audition and the winner’s concert, including, but not limited to, rehearsals and performances.
